A Word From Our Missions Director
Hi, my name is Gracenie Volcy, and I serve as the Missions Director for Shalom Ministry. Being part of the Missions Team is both an honor and an inspiration, allowing me to serve the community as the hands and feet of Jesus. I am incredibly excited to see all that God has in store for SMC Missions!
International Luncheon 2025
We are excited to share the success of our third annual International Luncheon this past February. Thanks to your support, we relocated to a larger venue, allowing us to host more guests and offer a wider variety of global cuisines. This experience was dedicated to supporting our mission efforts in Kenya. If you haven’t already, check out our video recap of this year’s Kenya trip, where our Visionary, Founder & President shares the progress and impact of this mission. We look forward to seeing you again in February 2026 for another inspiring luncheon!
Spring Spa & Sip 2025
Our annual Spring Spa & Sip, a fundraiser centered around self-care, was a hit! We enjoyed a day of renewal in God’s rest, while raising funds for our Mission in Liberia! Guests were treated to complimentary spa slippers, refreshing hors d’oeuvres and mocktails upon entrance. Next, they enjoyed affirming ice breakers and games, and transitioned into facials, masks and massages. Lastly, they explored a fragrance bar by INMYHEALS, where they made their own complimentary perfume roller oil, and even won prizes! Funds from our annual Spring Spa & Sip raised money towards Yes Christian Academy, our school and orphanage in Liberia, that provides housing, education and care for orphans and widows. Mark your calendars for next March, because this is an experience you don’t want to miss!
