Doris Singh

Visionary, Founder, & President (VFP)
Doris is a dedicated ministry leader and philanthropist operating with a strong, holistic, and faith-based mission. Doris aims to represent the heart of YHWH through a passion for people, acting as an extension of YHWH's divine love on this side of heaven. She brings decades of diverse skill sets which include mental health experience, physical fitness instruction, global Bible study leadership, holistic life coaching, and motherhood. Her mission focuses on both local and overseas outreach, with a specific "heartbeat" for helping widows and orphans. Her hands-on projects include building cafeterias and digging boreholes (water wells), up-starting family businesses, and financially supporting pastors. Doris' approach combines spiritual mentorship with practical, tangible support to empower, heal, and sustain communities.

Andrew Armenis

Executive Administrator of the Board
Andrew Armenis is a Board Member of Shalom Ministry and a seasoned public safety leader with more than 25 years in the fire service.
As a Division Chief / Fire Marshal and chaplain, Andrew is passionate about servant leadership, faith-based outreach, and supporting individuals and families during life’s most challenging moments.
Inspired by the Apostle Paul’s call to “serve one another humbly in love” (Galatians 5:13), his work with Shalom Ministry reflects a commitment to walking alongside others through compassion, faith, and practical leadership.

Maxine Armenis

Secretary of the Board
Maxine Armenis serves as the Secretary of the Board for Shalom Ministry, supporting the organization through faithful leadership, service, and a heart for Christ-centered community.
She is passionate about helping the ministry move forward with excellence and integrity while fostering meaningful connections rooted in God’s love.
Maxine is grateful to serve in a role that allows her to use her organizational gifts in service to the Lord, guided by the belief that
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord” (Colossians 3:23).

Tonya Watts

Vice President
Growing up in the Caribbean, Tonya was raised to keep God central; and she leaves the touch of her beliefs in everything she does. Her trade as a designer and interior architect allows her to create buildings, homes, and spaces for people to gather, commune, and live in a way that echoes what she believes. Tonya seeks to bring both her work ethic and faith to Shalom Ministry.

Maya Singh

Chief of Finance
Maya Singh is Shalom Ministry’s Chief of Finance and Interim Experience Director. Her attention to detail; dedication to precision, effectiveness, and excellence; and passion for people propel her forward in her service. Maya loves to see a vision come to fruition which brings her excitement as she curates experiences to share the Good News and Shalom Ministry’s mission and make the family of Christ bigger. No matter the position she holds, her heart and mind are set to glorifying God, edifying His people, and participating in the greater work of bringing Heaven to Earth.

Kevon Browne

Content Writer
Kevon is a communications expert in media relations, having worked as a journalist in St. Kitts and Nevis for over five years.
His formal education, practical experience, and faith-filled upbringing have enabled him to branch out from traditional media and serve the Lord in his role as Content Writer on the Marketing Team for SMC.
Specialising in communicating and presenting ideas, working with SMC provides a holistic use of his talents.

Lilian Nungari

Experience Team Volunteer
Lilian brings passion, dedication, and a heart for holistic community service to her role on the Experience Team at Shalom Ministry, where she supports the creation of thoughtful and welcoming experiences that help individuals feel seen, valued, and connected. Originally from Kenya and now living in Canada, her cross-cultural journey has shaped a deep appreciation for community, service, and faith lived out through action. Through active involvement in program coordination, she contributes to spaces that foster hope, healing, and belonging. Her personal background and spiritual calling align closely with Shalom Ministry’s vision of cultivating love, hope, and transformation in the lives of those they serve.

Maryanne Nyambura

Web Lead
Maryanne serves as Web Lead & Development Volunteer at Shalom Ministries, stewarding the ministry’s digital presence with strategy, structure, and creativity. Based in Kenya, she brings a global perspective to her work, leveraging her background in web development and digital communication to strengthen outreach, enhance clarity, and expand connection across borders.
Through thoughtful use of technology, she supports Shalom as it continues to serve as the hands and feet of Yeshua locally and globally.
